Getting started with in.house.media

Creating your new web site with in.house.media is extremely simple and straightforward. To start with, we need to fully understand what you’re looking for, so it’s important that we learn as much as possible about your business. We start with an informal chat to find out what you would like to include on your site and what you want to achieve from it. This can be either face to face or over the phone: whatever suits you is fine with us.

We then put together a proposal (in plain English - no jargon) containing your requested features and requirements along with our own ideas and suggestions. We will also give you a fixed-price quote which will only change if your requirements change. There are absolutely no hidden costs.

Project commencement

Before we start work on a new web site project one of our designers will have a more detailed consultation with you or we will ask you to answer a short questionnaire to make sure we really understand your business and what you want the web site to achieve. Whether you want to increase enquiries, sell products or simply raise your profile online.

Web Site Graphic Design

Our expert graphic designers will create visual concepts which you will be able to view online. This may also include logo and corporate branding design if required. Careful care and consideration is given to layout, colour, typography and imagery. Once you are completely happy with the design we proceed with the site build.

Web Site build

The longest stage of the process this is where we create all the pages of your site and add all the content. Our web developers will hand code your site in modern, search engine friendly web code.

Timescales

Providing we have all content supplied at the outset, very small 2-4 page web sites can be turned around in 1-2 weeks. 5 - 20 page sites may be created in 2 - 4 weeks and full ecommerce web sites typically take around 4 - 6 weeks.

However, development time can be as swift as you require and if you have a deadline to meet we have the resources to meet it.

Throughout the whole process you can view the site on a test address. Naturally, projects will need some adjustments as the site comes together: this is not a problem. We are very flexible and more than happy to work with you to make sure the final site is exactly what you are looking for.

Going live is just the beginning!

Making your new site live isn’t the end of our commitment to you. Our ongoing after-care service means we are still there to help and support you as and when you require.
