The original Autoscan web-site was built by in.house.media in 2002. This site was an online brochure providing an overview of the unique services supplied by Autoscan

The site was developed in four languages: English, French, German and Spanish. The user simply clicks a flag icon at the top of the screen and the whole site is translated to the required lanuage. in.house.media provided all of the translations as part of the development.

The site includes a 'latest news' section which is dynamic. All news information is stored in a database which means AutoScan can update this using a simple Content Management System.

A more recent addition to the website is a Current Vacancies section. Once again this is controlled by the Content Management System which allows AutoScan staff to upload new vacanies in real-time. The candidates also have the ability to fill out an online application form and apply online.

In 2004 we developed a secure client-only web-based application called 'The File Cabinet'.

Every day AutoScan staff upload client reports and documents to this secure system. Clients are then given a unique login which provdes them with access to a download page where they can view all their documents.

This system works entirely from a web browser and has meant a huge reduction in costs: and and increase in benefits in terms of the time it takes clients to access data. This applicaiton has made the fax machine redundant!

Finally, the site is integrated with our email newsletter-system called mailingmanager. This is directly linked to the newsletter subscription box which is featured on every page of the site. It enables AutoScan to collect contact details from interested parties for future email marketing.
